Wonderful park for kids of all ages. There is a pretty big slide on one side that might be too much for little ones but my 4year old loves it. It usually spits him our pretty fast at the bottom but he likes it. There is a sand pit area for the kids to play in as well. Free parking right by the bathrooms at the beginning of the park.
Beautiful park to visit during cherry blossom season. Much better option than to visit crowded parks in Tokyo.

OK small
Love this big park
I had read on the internet that winter sunflowers had bloomed, so I went there with some skepticism that it would be at this time of the year. Then, I was surprised to see that the slightly smaller sunflowers were almost in full bloom! Apparently, the seeds were sown in time for Christmas, but due to the lingering summer heat and high temperatures, the flowers bloomed earlier than planned. However, it was a very pleasant park where you could enjoy the autumn leaves and sunflowers at the same time. Zama is famous for its summer sunflower festival, but I hope the winter sunflower festival organized by the Himawari Project continues for a long time. I also appreciate that the park and parking lot are free.
Nice place
Although it wasn't a sunflower field, it's a hidden spot where you can see winter sunflowers. It's very nice because you can walk from the station. You can see more sunflowers in winter in Samukawa Town, Kanagawa Prefecture, but that only lasts until the end of November. You can also see winter sunflowers at the tourist farm flower plaza in Minamichita Town, Aichi Prefecture. Zama City's city flower is the sunflower, so it seems that they are using it to revitalize the city.
